GOOD DEALER SCHEME 2013-14

1. The Department of Trade & Taxes invites applications from such registered dealers, who fulfil the following eligibility criteria for consideration of their names for award under the ‘Good Dealer Scheme’ of the Govt. NCT of Delhi.

2. The eligibility criteria for selection of Good Dealer shall be as under:

(i) The dealer should not have been a return defaulter in the last three financial years.

(ii) No adverse finding against the dealer should have been reported during the course of survey conducted by the Enforcement branch, Audit or any other Branch, during the preceding three financial years.

(iii) Should have registered at least 30% tax growth as compared to the last financial year’s tax deposit Or at least 25% tax growth in last two financial years or at least 20% in the 3 financial years.

(iv) No outstanding demand should be pending against the dealer, unless he has raised a legal dispute, which is awaiting final decision.

3. The dealers found covered in the ‘Good Dealer Scheme”  as per the above mentioned criteria, shall e entitled to the following benefits.

(i)   A Certificate and Memento by the Hon’ble  Finance Minister/Chief Minister in a function to be Organized by the Department.

(ii)  No increase in security deposit for at least one year for issuance of statutory forms etc..

(iii) Refund claims will be released within seven days of claim, against Bank Guarantee, once all the Papers and information is submitted.

(iv)  No enforcement survey without written permission of   Commissioner, VAT, GNCTD. Such Permission to be granted only on substantive facts against the dealer .

(v)       Will be involved in policy/law formulation concerning Value Added Tax.

(vi)  The names of ‘Good dealer” so selected will be listed on the Departmental website besides advertising their names in the leading newspapers .

4. The “Good Dealer Scheme” is a continue scheme for which the award will be announced every year. For consideration of Good Dealer Award for the current  financial year 2013-2014, the interested  required dealer fulfilling the prescribed  eligibility criteria may send their applications to their respective Ward  In charge with a copy to the Zonal In charge  or before 29 /07/2013.
